EDUCATION
The Kanata Stallions are committed to providing our athletes with the necessary educational resources and opportunities in order for all players to receive the best possible education programming while playing within our organization. Whether the athlete is enrolled in post-secondary education or at the high school level, our staff will monitor their production and ensure each player is maintaining and exceeding his educational responsibilities. Our Coaching staff and Educational Advisor will have access to the players grades, attendance records and conduct, and each player will be required to sign an educational release waiver allowing our staff the above mentioned rights. The Central Hockey League is a stepping stone for players looking to pursue hockey at the NCAA or CIS level, and the Kanata Stallions will ensure each athlete that leaves our program is well prepared to enter these academic institutions. Athletes and their families can be assured that the Kanata organization considers the player's schooling to supercede his hockey and we take great pride in seeing our players reach the next level, in both athletics and academics.
