The "Read to Succeed" program is designed for students to have the opportunity to read with a Stallion's player directly in their classroom. The Stallions organization is committed to providing the Kanata community with the opportuntiy to work together with our professional organization, and the opportunity for kids to meet our players and spend a few hours relaxing with a book. The "Read to Succeed" program is a great way for local elemenatry schools to be involved with high performance athletes, all the while providing an avenue for education through sport.

Kids aged 5 to 13 will have the chance to win a day with the Kanata Stallions simply by filling out our KIDS CLUB CARD at your next Stallions home game.

Ask our staff at the doors for a KIDS CLUB CARD, fill it out, and you could win the chance to be a Kanata Stallion for a day!

Lucky winners will have the chance to receive the following: Hats, t-shirts, sticks, locker room access, get on the bench for practice, and much more!

Every kid under the age of 15 who wears his or her minor hockey jersey to a Stallions home game will receive free admission - no questions asked! Walk up to our ticket sales desk at the KRC and proudly flaunt your jersey and you will be admitted free of charge.

Got a Minor Hockey Jersey?

A great opportunity for local families to provide a home-away-from-home for these young aspiring hockey players. This becomes a wonderful relationship between the player, the Billet Family, and the player's family back home.

The players become an extension of your family and are expected to be treated like one of your own. The players understand that they are guests in your home and wiil be sure to follow house rules and contribute around when necessary. The Stallions organization provides each Billet Family with a monthly cheque to cover the cost of food and living expenses while the player is in your home (7 or 8 months).
